About

New York-based executive Jessamy Tang has specialized in the media and entertainment industry for the past 15 years, with recent forays in the financial sector. She currently serves as Partner of MCE Partners, LLC, a start-up investment management fund she was recruited to. Jessamy Tang is adept in market analysis, business development, managing profit and loss, and negotiating contracts.

Among the highlights of Jessamy Tang’s career is her work at ESPN and ABC Radio, a division of The Walt Disney Company she joined in 1994. Working with the company for nearly 8 years, she exhibited great competency in radio management and leadership while working for the company in New York City, Dallas, Texas, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Becoming a Special Assistant to the President at ABC Radio, Jessamy Tang developed the strategy that converted ESPN Radio into a full-fledged network with station affiliates broadcasting ESPN programming 24 hours a day.

Jessamy Tang went on to demonstrate ESPN Radio’s potential as the President and General Manager of the WEAE/ESPN Radio 1250, the ESPN owned-and-operated (O&O) affiliate in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. While working for WEAE, Jessamy Tang expanded the station’s audience in the Pittsburgh metro area, and turned the station into the ESPN Radio station with the best ratings in the country. Combining the expanded audience share with effective sales and marketing strategies, Jessamy Tang boosted ESPN Radio 1250’s revenues by more than 500 percent. She would later employ some of these strategies with another ESPN Radio station, WAMG 890 AM in Boston, which became a top power radio station in the Boston area.

Jessamy Tang earned a Master of Business Administration from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science from MIT. Presently, Jessamy Tang lives in Long Island, New York, with her family.
